Pianoworks 13 is a short movie, which combines live action and motion design. Over an original soundtrack played by Polerik Rouviere, four dancers perform different styles (break dance, new style, popping). The film illustrates the link between body, instrument and instrumentalist. The moves give birth to a sort of calligraphic language which is a representation of the moves themselves.

Hungry Giant

Aujourd'hui, je vous présente le grand et barbu "Hungry Giant" ! Ce hip hopeu de Denvers partage le même label que le sieur "Otem Rellik" et tout comme son confrère, il nous livre un hip hop avec de belles ambiances tantôt tranquilles, tantôt brumeuses, tantôt mélancoliques, le tout avec un panache et un humour qui me rappellent cette touche particulière qu'avaient développés certains artistes de cette même scène dans les années 90. Souvenir confus de cette époque ? C'est fort possible ! En tous cas "Hungry Giant" c'est la grande classe, aussi bien sur galette qu'en live. D'ailleurs c'est lors d'une de ses prestations scéniques qu'il m'a complétement envoûté. Il a un flow impeccable, une présence, un charisme à toute épreuve et il a une barbe que je jalouse ! Bref, trêve de bla bla et plus de liens: son myspace et le site du label qui l'a signé.
